Services for researchers

The Library of Parliament offers researchers in the field of legal, social and political and parliamentary research information and materials that are not available at universities' or research institutes' libraries.

One of the core areas of the library's collection is publications of state authorities and international organisations. The Archive of Parliament contains unique material for parliamentary researchers. This material is not available in such a broad scope elsewhere in Finland.

Researchers in the field of parliamentary information, legal information and social and political information can use the Interlibrary Loans Service free of charge.

Researchers in the library's specialist fields can apply for a place in the Researchers' Room for six months at a time. The library's experts also provide researchers personal assistance in using information sources on request.
