Services for public administration

The Library of Parliament's services are at the disposal of public agencies. Agencies can obtain a library card and use it to borrow and reserve material from the library's collection. This usually takes place through the agency's own information service or library. Civil servants can also get a personal library card.

The library's collections include Finnish and foreign official publications and law drafting documents from different countries. Various international organisations' publications are also deposited at the library.

The ELKI database contains links to electronic information sources in the fields of law, policy and public administration.

The Information Service's experts provide assistance in finding information sources on public administration, including EU information sources.

The training arranged by the library is open to civil servants. On request the Library of Parliament arranges customised training for public agencies in the use of information sources.
