Services for companies

The Library of Parliament serves different types of businesses such as law firms, publishers and small enterprises. Companies can obtain a library card and use it to borrow and reserve material from the library's collection.

The Information Service's specialists assist companies in locating EU information sources, for example. The library provides companies important information on legislation and Finnish society. Information searches are generally free, but there is a charge for using some databases.

Library users can obtain copies of printed parliamentary documents such as Government bills. Copies are subject to charges.

Companies can participate in open workshops that are intended for all library users. The Library of Parliament also arranges training for businesses in the use of information sources in its specialist fields.
